Matteo Achilli is a 21 years old entrepreneur and student at Bocconi University in Milan. He founded his start-up at 19, Egomnia.com, the italian social and professional network that helps people to find a job.
Egomnia.com basically uses an algorithm to assign a score to the CVs of its members in order to meet the demand and the supply of labor.
Matteo didn’t receive any sort of funding to start his company and, in only one year, Egomnia.com has 100,000 members and 600 companies efficiently indexed in its servers. Many italian authorities, trade unions, head hunting companies and universities uses his service. Egomnia has helped many italians finding a job.
The revenues of 2013 are now half a million dollars and in november Egomnia will be launched in Brazil, United States of America and United Kingdom in 6 languages.
Egomnia has started other business developing innovative software for the Human Resources division of big corporate.
Matteo Achilli received a lot of awards, also very important ones, and the Italian press calls him “The Italian Zuckerberg”. Among those awards he received the cover of Panorama, a major Italian magazine.”
